FACSA participates in the first follow-up meeting of the LIFE WINDRO project

Castellón, February 22, 2017 - A team of experts composed of representatives of FACSA, AGUA SA, ADEPRO INGENIERIA SL, the Center for Environmental and Technological Energy Research (CIEMAT), the Water Institute of the University of Granada And URBITAS SL participated today in the first follow-up meeting of the European project LIFE WINDRO (see LIFE15 CCM / ES / 000040).

This initiative, co-financed by the European Commission's LIFE program under the Climate Action subprogram, aims to develop a pilot water desalination facility using reverse osmosis capable of working in a self-sufficient manner using only the mechanical energy generated in a wind turbine.

During the meeting, experts have been aware of the progress of the initiative during its first four months of implementation and have followed up on technical, economic and administrative aspects related to the implementation of the project.
